About Brittani (she/her/hers)

My name is Brittani Kindle and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, born and raised in the best city in the world… Chicago, IL. I identify with a few different communities that influence the reason why I do this work: Black woman, former foster youth, LGBTQ, a therapy-goer, and so many other beautiful identities that have taught me how to approach the world with empathy and gentle compassion.

The day I received my license, I felt honored to be able to spend the rest of my life helping other people feel less broken. I promise it’s the coolest job ever. Thank you for trusting me with it. I don’t take it lightly. I’m most excited to help contribute to generations of people of color who pass down legacies of healing and not just trauma. Let’s get to work.

About Meant for Me Therapy

This therapeutic space exists just for you. I never saw myself becoming a clinician. However, as someone who knows all too well the need for mental health to be normalized in black, brown, and minority communities where asking for help is sometimes viewed as weakness, I knew I needed to make therapy accessible to more people.

I’m no expert in anything except my own life. You are the expert on you. Together, we can blend my knowledge of therapeutic techniques with your resilience, honesty, vulnerability, and strength to allow you to live a life that you can thrive in. This is my why. Therapy is meant for anyone who is willing to put in the work to get something out of it. Therapy is meant for you.
